Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) is a tech-based initiative that transforms the way e-commerce functions by enabling e-commerce through an open protocol based on open-source specifications and provides strong foundation to the growth of start-ups.
Objectives
- To facilitate setting up of required Agri-infrastructure.
- To empower youth through skill development, innovation and agri-entrepreneurship based agribusiness models that attract them to agriculture.

- It increases e-commerce penetration in the country by enabling population-scale inclusion of all types and sizes of sellers.
- It further strengthens the growth of startups by facilitating scalable and cost-effective e-commerce through the open protocol.
